Android Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy covers the Android version of Mahjong Slide (package name com.robertwood.mahjongslide), published by ARRCWood Studios, LLC. It explains what information the app and the services it uses collect, why, and how you can control it. This page is specific to the Android app; the iOS version of Mahjong Slide has its own privacy policy.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Mahjong Slide has no account system of its own. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any health data. You never have to sign up or log in to play.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Your game progress, settings, and unlocked backgrounds are saved locally on your device using Android's standard local storage. This includes:

• Game progress, completed puzzles, and level/experience data
• Jade (in-game currency) balance and power-up inventory
• Unlocked backgrounds and display settings

This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

4. Google AdMob

Mahjong Slide shows ads through Google AdMob in three forms: banner ads during gameplay, interstitial (full-screen) ads between games, and rewarded ads you can choose to watch for in-game rewards. To serve and measure these ads, AdMob collects:

• Your Android advertising ID
• Your app set ID (an identifier shared across apps from the same developer on your device)
• Your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your approximate location
• App interaction data, such as which ads you see and how you interact with them
• SDK diagnostic data

This information is shared with Google for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Ads can be permanently removed through optional in-app purchases in the store. For details, review Google's Advertising Privacy policy.

5. Consent Choices (EEA/GDPR)

Mahjong Slide uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect consent before ads are initialized. If you're in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, you'll see a consent form the first time you open the app, letting you choose what kind of ads you receive. Ads only start after this consent step completes. You can change your choice at any time from Privacy options in the app's Settings screen.

6. Google Play Games Services

Mahjong Slide offers optional sign-in through Google Play Games Services for leaderboards. If you choose to sign in, Play Games Services collects your Play Games gamer identity and the scores you submit to leaderboards. Signing in is entirely optional — the game is fully playable without it. We do not receive or store your Play Games data ourselves. For details, review the Google Privacy Policy.

7. Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played, so we can improve it. It collects an app-instance ID and your advertising ID, along with gameplay events such as games started and completed, power-ups used, ads watched, level ups, daily challenges, and purchases. This data is not linked to your name or any other personal identity. For details, review the Google Privacy Policy.

8. Firebase Crashlytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes. If the app crashes, Crashlytics collects a crash stack trace, basic device metadata (such as device model and OS version), and a Crashlytics installation UUID that identifies your device's install without identifying you personally. 9. In-App Purchases

Mahjong Slide offers optional in-app purchases — removing ads, or purchasing jade, the in-game currency — through Google Play Billing. No content in the game requires payment: all backgrounds and tile backs are earned through gameplay. Google Play processes all payments. ARRCWood Studios never receives or stores your payment card details.

10. Encryption

All data sent between the app and any service described above is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS.

11. Permissions We Use

• Internet — needed to show ads, load leaderboards, and sync purchases
• Access Network State — lets AdMob check your connection before requesting an ad
• Vibrate — used for haptic feedback when you interact with tiles

12. Your Choices and How to Delete Your Data

• Advertising ID — you can reset or delete your Android advertising ID at any time in Settings > Privacy > Ads (path may vary by Android version).
• Play Games data — you can view or delete your Play Games activity from your Play Games profile or from Google My Account.
• Any other data we hold — email arrcwoodstudios@gmail.com to request deletion. We'll respond within 30 days.

13. Children's Privacy

Mahjong Slide is intended for players ages 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

14. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
