Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

Bill Docket does not collect any personal or identifying information. We do not request your name, email address, location, financial account details, or any other personal data. There are no accounts and no sign-ins required to use the app.

2. Local Data Storage

All information you enter — including biller names, amounts, due dates, billing frequencies, categories, and payment history — is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to enable iCloud sync (see Section 3).

3. iCloud Sync

Bill Docket offers optional iCloud synchronization via CloudKit. If you enable this feature, your bill data will be stored in your personal iCloud account and synced across Apple devices signed into the same Apple ID. This data is held by Apple under their iCloud privacy policies and is not accessible to ARRCWood Studios. iCloud sync is disabled by default. You can enable or disable it at any time in the app's Settings.

4. Notifications

If you enable due date reminders, Bill Docket will request permission to send local notifications. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any server communication. No notification content is transmitted to or processed by ARRCWood Studios.

5. In-App Purchases

Bill Docket may offer in-app purchases processed through Apple's App Store via StoreKit 2. ARRCWood Studios does not collect or store any payment information. All transactions are handled directly by Apple. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how purchase data is handled.

6. Permissions

The app may request permission to send notifications (for due date reminders). It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or any other sensitive device features beyond what is described in this policy.

7. Third-Party Services

Bill Docket does not use advertising networks, analytics tools, crash reporting services, or any other third-party SDKs that collect user data. There are no ads in the app.

8. Data Security

Because all bill data is stored locally on your device (or in your personal iCloud account), your privacy is in your hands. We recommend keeping your device and iCloud account secured with a strong passcode and two-factor authentication.

9. Children's Privacy

The app is safe for all ages. Since no personal data is collected by ARRCWood Studios, the app complies with privacy regulations protecting children's data, including COPPA in the U.S.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes that affect how your data is handled, we will update this Privacy Policy and post a notice before any change takes effect. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
